We are about 40 miles north of Minneapolis. The airport that services our area is the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport . Please visit their site to learn more about the facility and surrounding services.

The information provided below will help make planning easier. When a puppy pick up time and date is set we will send detailed directions to our home in a document form via email.

For planning sake the information below provides hotels, some great places to eat or some simple ones, interesting things to do in MN, rental cars, gas station locations and more. We have also provided the weather information to the location of the airport and our location.

Can you tell us approximately where we are on the waiting list?
"We have no well defined places on our waiting list we try to fit the best puppy with the right home. We only look at the date on the application if there is more than one equally great home requesting a certain puppy."
Can you give us an idea of when we will get a puppy?
"Honestly - No! I hear this question often and I have no answer. Many times people on our waiting list have submitted their application earlier than they actually wanted to adopt a puppy in hopes that they will be at the top of the list and considered first when ready to adopt. We have had many new applicants get adopt a puppy within days or weeks of being approved. We usually only have 1 to 10 requests for any litter of puppies so the chances of adopting in less then 6 months is very good."
Where are you located?
"Scroll down the page...this information is provided in maps and such just below this information. Detailed directions are sent to our applicants once we have determine the right puppy and a pick up date."
Do you know of a good hotel in the area?
"We have provided weather, maps, directions and information on hotels, gas stations, parks, resturants...etc. all in the area below."
Do you have a list of things we will need for the puppy?
"We sure do! -- That list is sent via e-mail when a $200.00 deposit is received."
What are some good books on training?
"I tell everyone to read, read, read and then follow your feelings. No matter how many books you read on dog training no two will be exactly alike or 100% correct. I don't really care for most training books so I have my own information packet that I give out to our puppy families, it has some basic training tips, ideas and more information that will help anyone raising a Schnoodle puppy. This packet is sent via e-mail to our puppy families when the $200 deposit is received. Of all the information available I do have one favorite that definitely stands out above the rest...although I do not agree with his "extreme exercise program" I do agree with his behavioral methods. This trainer is Cesar Millan This gentleman has the thought process on dog training that is most like mine. I highly recommend everyone with a dog view his website and training materials! "
Do you know of a breeder in my area?
"I no longer provide that information via email. I suggest looking in our helpful links for some great places to find other breeder listings."
Why are your puppies $1,000.00?
"There are many reasons...for one, the cost of raising healthy, happy, well-bred puppies has increased. We started on the internet as the first Schnoodle breeder with a website and we had to continuely defended the breeding of Schnoodles to anyone and everyone who questioned it. We spent endless hours on the phone, in e-mail and on our website providing answers and facts to educate new breeders and the public about carefully breeding a mixed breed dog and how to make a well-bred, quality Schnoodle. We accepted many interviews about the Schnoodle - giving interviews to some very popular and some not so well-known newspapers, tv stations and radio. Probably the most well-known paper interview being in The Wall Street Journal (August 2002). We continue to lead the way in providing real Schnoodle facts and information. Information that we researched with ALL Schnoodle owners.... so that the information was generalized and not about one or two particular breeders puppies. We continue to look for helpful info that we can share with all Schnoodle owners...maybe in the form of another book or a revised edition some day : ) With all that we have done and continue to do we feel our unmatched commitment, efforts and time are worth something. Have a look at the other breeders adoption fees and ask yourself these questions: What has this particular breeder done for the Schnoodles in general? How long have they been breeding? Do they offer the detailed information available on the Shelbo Schnoodle site...if so where did they get this information? Please consider the fact that most of the Schnoodle information found on the internet and elsewhere was written by Shelbo Schnoodles on our first website. We are proud to be such an important part of the past and future of the Schnoodle."
Why did you change your website?
"We had allowed so many others to use our information on their websites that the originality of our site was gone, the information on Schnoodles had become repetitive and out-dated. It was time to step out of the ordinary Schnoodle site and make an all new, more informative, more user friendly, and far less copied website. FYI our last website ended at over 400,000 visitors!"
