~ Our Adult Dogs ~

Here are some details - both good and maybe not so good - about the adult dogs we are breeding. We have always felt it is extremely important for the new family to know the adult dogs who are making their Schnoodle puppy. A below average dog can produce below average puppies but true outstanding dogs will produce the most amazing Schnoodle puppies. Please remember no dog is perfect, the difference here is that we are sharing the facts about our adult dogs. We offer this information so our website visitors can make an educated decision on whether to adopt a puppy from Shelbo Schnoodles or to continue searching for the adult dogs with the personality, structure, temperament and/or traits they would like to see possibly passed on in their Schnoodle puppy.

Positives: Hank took a long time for us to find as we needed to fill the void of an outstanding Poodle (Eddie) who was about to retire. It took well over a year for us to FINALLY find the perfect boy. Hank is a kind, gentle guy who loves everything and is a real people-pleaser! He is much bigger in size than Eddie was...in fact he is a "true" miniature Poodle and we hope to have a little more size and substance to our Schnoodle puppy structures. Hank does not have dark brown eyes but rather a gorgeous golden eyes! He has longer, thicker ears than Eddie did and this was our intentional effort to continue to try and improve our Schnoodles ear sets.

Hank has a wider, fuller face & muzzle. Again, this was our intentions as to make every effort to continue to make the best possible Schnoodle.

Hanks temperament is ideal. He is a sweet, affectionate, outgoing boy who has a love for life and making people happy without be "hyper" or annoying.

Not-so-positive: Hank is like a spring, he can jump so high in the air that he could clear most fences...if he wanted to. Luckily Hank is a homebody and isn't interested in leaving, he has never used his abilities to jump to misbehave : )

Asya
Female Schnauzer
Black & Silver

Positives: Asya is a bundle of mush...that is the best way to describe her. She loves people and other animals of all kinds. She gets along with anything. She is playful, very easy-going and relatively calm. When visitors arrive usually Asya only goes to the door to greet the people and not to bark at them. She is always happy when people come to see her! Although she likes to have company she is not overly pesty and bothersome to company...unless they initiate it.

Asya is always a kind, gentle and giving soul. She is never pushy, mean or petty. She receives plenty of compliments on how beautiful she is and how wonderful she acts. Asya's eyes say so much and she seems to pass this trait on to her puppies.

Not-so-positive: Asya was a digger in her younger days. Although that has changed with training.

Asya is 17 pounds and 15 inches at the shoulders

Wila
Mini Schnauzer - Female
Dark Salt & Pepper

Positives: She is smart, affectionate and friendly. An outgoing girl who totally adores her family. Very obedient, kind and gentle lady.

A sweetie who loves attention and cuddling. She also gets along with other animals and is outgoing and friendly to people.

Not-so-Positive: She is alert and a bit more concerned with what is happening around her.

Wila is 14 pounds and 14 inches tall

Positives: This is a very sweet and highly intelligent dog. She has a mind much like a human. She is easy going and fun! A very affectionate and confident girl! She enjoys just about everything as long as she is with us. Did I say extremely intelligent and learns quickly?!!

Not-so-positive: A bit of a ball chaser, she throws a tennis ball for herself then fetches it over-n-over-n-over again....this can go on for an hour at a time. I suppose THAT could get annoying...but we find it very entertaining!

31 pounds and 20 inches tall

Standard Schnauzer - Female
Salt & Pepper

Positives: Cami is a sweet, silly and playful girl. She has great confidence and is easy going. She adores people and all other animals. She is highly intelligent and learns quickly. She is full sister to Trina and half sister to Hattie...they have the same father. She loves her toys and playing with people of all ages....and FOOD!

Not-so-positive: As standards are known to be, she is a bit vocal when someone comes to the house or yard. This is corrected by teaching the "quiet" command.

21 lbs & 19 inches at shoulders

Cami -- 24 pounds and 19 inches tall

Trina
Standard Schnauzer - Female
Salt & Pepper

Positives: Trina is very affectionate and adoring to her family and friends, while also being friendly to others. She is a gentle and kind girl who loves to just sit with us or cuddle up...although she loves her toys too! She is mostly a calm dog...she was even as a puppy. She is a smart girl who learns very quickly and wants very much to please her people. She also LOVES food and treats can get her to do most anything! She is a very cooperative and usually polite sweetheart!

Not-so-positive: Can be a little vocal when strangers arrive but she listens well to the "quiet" command.

Trina -- 23 pounds and 18 inches tall
